Physical Business for Kids

Kidz-Fiz-Biz is a user-friendly music and movement programme for early childhood. Kidz-Fiz-Biz is now available as a resource for teachers and parents. It consists of a series of books with detailed lesson plans and accompanying CDs.

It incorporates:

• songs, rhymes, fingerplays, music skills, percussion.
• dance, drama, motor skills, listening skills, flexibility, relaxation.
• integrated approach with links to other learning areas.
• proven children’s favorites. music includes classical, jazz, folk and pop from the ABC and other national and international artists.

No music or physical education background is required

About The Author – Marlene Rattigan B.A., Dip. Ed. (ECS), CELTA

Marlene Rattigan is an Early Childhood teacher, a teacher of English as a Second Language, and from 1987-2000 was a nationally accredited fitness leader. Her background is in music education. A keen interest in motor development in children led to the creation of Kidz-Fiz-Biz which she taught successfully for 13 years. Marlene also conducts workshops for children, teachers and parents at schools, in the community, festivals and conferences. These books are an extension of her ‘Kidz-Fiz-Biz’ programme.
